UNISA Online Application for admission to the 2024 academic year opens on 1 September 2023 and the closing date is 13 October 2023 for all Undergraduate qualifications, i.e. Diplomas, Advanced diplomas & degrees, Higher certificates, and Advanced higher certificates.
UNISA Undergraduate Application 2024-2025
The University of South Africa, UNISA Undergraduate Application for admission to the 2024-2025 academic year is open from 1 September 2023 to 13 October 2023. All those who wish to commence a new programme should apply for admission. The application process includes the following:
- All first-time UNISA applicants
- Students of UNISA who wish to change to a new programme or want to specialize in a qualification
- Those who earlier applied for admission to the 2023 academic year and were not offered a space
- Applicants who were able to be offered space and accepted the offer but did not register
- UNISA students who are finishing a higher certificate or any other programme and want to further Undergraduate studies. University of South Africa Online Application 2024
Please remember to check whether you meet the statutory and college-specific admission criteria, as well as the requisite academics points score (APS) for your chosen qualification, before submitting an application. A minimum APS of 15 is required for a higher certificate, an APS of 18 for a diploma, and a minimum APS of 21 for a bachelor’s degree.
The status of your 2024 application submission will be communicated to you by UNISA. If you are admitted, UNISA will let you know which of the qualification you have been accepted into and will give you a space for the time you applied for semester 1 of 2024. UNISA Required Supporting Documents for 2024 Applications
Applicants beginning a new programme have to upload all the required supporting documents listed below:
- A copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
- The copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
- Applicants are required to provide a copy of their ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- Please, provide a copy of your proof of marriage certificate or divorce decree if requested
- Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
How to Apply Online with UNISA Application Tool 2024
If you want to apply for admission at UNISA via the Online Application tool for the 2024-2025 academic year, follow the outlined steps below:
- Visit UNISA website: www.unisa.ac.za online
- Go to UNISA Application for Admission tab
- Click on Apply for Admission tab
- Choose your preferred qualification
- Make sure you have all your supporting documents ready to be Upload
- Click on Apply Online and complete the application process
UNISA Application 2024 Outcome
Your submission will be evaluated by UNISA, which will provide a points scheme. If you meet the academic entry criteria for your chosen degree, the minimum academic points score (APS), and the number of places available for the qualification for which you have applied, you will be given a space for the first 1 semester of the 2024 academic year. Applicants who do not meet the admissions requirements will receive notification as soon as their applications are processed.
Applicants may not be immediately admitted to study at Unisa in 2024 based on the qualification and placement process described above.
After all applications submitted by the semester 1 closing date have been reviewed, applicants who apply for acceptance will receive final reviews about whether or not UNISA will give them a space for semester 1 of the 2024 academic year. University of South Africa Online Application 2024
