UNISA Registration Dates for 2024 First Semester
All UNISA first 1 semester and year module registrations for the 2024 academic year must be sent online due to the revival of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa. UNISA’s self-help registration services will be inaccessible in the country during the forthcoming registration season.
UNISA is completely qualified to handle the online registration for 2024. Below is the UNISA Registration dates & deadline for 2024:
UNISA Undergraduate & Honours qualifications Dates for 2024 First 1 Semester
Undergraduate qualifications (Higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, BTech & degrees, including the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE):
- Semester modules: 10 January 2024 – 12 February 2024
- Year modules: 10 January 2024 – 22 March 2024
- Master’s and doctoral: 10 January 2024 – 29 March 2024 (some exceptions apply)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Leadership (MBL) and Doctor of Business Leadership (DBL) qualifications: 10 January 2024 to 9 February 2024
- Master of Accounting Sciences (98656) AUE, FAC, GOV, INT, MAC & TAX options: 10 January 2024 to 22 March 2024
We advise you to register as soon as possible and not to wait until the last minute.
If you have any trouble registering online, please read the error message carefully and make the necessary changes to your module collection before submitting your registration. As a result, the university will be able to handle registration quickly.

Exceptions
(only valid for students registering for the qualifications listed below)
- First-time registering students outside of the published registration dates will be assisted manually to register.
- Re-registering Unisa students must register during the prescribed registration period.

UNISA Online Registration Process 2024
The online registration process at UNISA is short, simple, and reliable. When you are registering online, you will be asked if any detail is not completed or is wrong. This will help you make sure you have filled out all of the necessary fields before you submit your registration form for 2024.
Please provide UNISA with the following for your Registration 2024:
- a valid and active cellphone number
- an alternative and valid contact number (in case we can’t get hold of you via your cellphone number)
- a valid and correct courier / physical delivery address
