How Does Online Unisa Study Work In 2023?

Unisa is known as a provider of fair and equitable access to higher education opportunities. Flowing from its social responsibility to address past inequalities, Unisa has an application and selection process that effectively addresses historical imbalances without sacrificing quality standards.

This process promotes focused attention towards improved student support, and the alignment of our new student intake with the available academic capacity and required infrastructure to maximise all students’ chances of success.

In every academic year, the university opens its doors to accept both new and transferred students into the institution to further a qualification which is linked to their career.  After the application process, Unisa will assess your application according to the academic admission requirements of your qualification(s) of choice and the final mark obtained for your major subjects at the third-year undergraduate level. If you do not meet these requirements, your application will be rejected.

When Does Unisa Accept Applications For New Applicants In 2023

Both South African and international applicants who like to study through the university of South Africa for the 2023 academic year should begin by downloading the application forms from the official website of the university or any of the campus offices of the university. The university will open applications for the 2023 academic year from the 1st of September 2022 and the application deadline is on the 14 of October 2022.

What Are The Unisa Study Materials Needed?

Your study material will consist of written content, whether on paper (eg prescribed books or textbooks) or online (eg myUnisa), instead of listening to a teacher or lecturer in a classroom. In some instances, Unisa provides access to computers and the internet at our regional offices and other partner organisations, but you should have your own computer and access to the internet.   Study Online At unisa

The best way to cope with open-distance e-learning is to take full responsibility for your own learning experience and environment. Your study world will be the environment you create – a room at home, a desk somewhere at work and, of course, the connections you make and the virtual networks you develop.

To study at Unisa, you need to develop effective study techniques in order to help you manage your studies. There are no right or wrong methods, and you may also find that you use a combination of methods depending on the demands of the modules you register for. Making notes is an important activity in terms of deep learning without notes, you will not be able to understand the content of your modules in-depth, and you will not be able to remember what you have studied. Start making notes from the beginning of a semester in order to maximise your learning.
