Unisa Admission Requirements For Applying for Credits from other Higher Education Institutions 2025-2026
If You are Applying for Credits from other Higher Education Institutions:
UNISA may be able to recognize previous formal education lessons. On a case-by-case basis, this will be considered. All credits earned at other universities do not apply to UNISA qualifications. Only when we have received your completed online DSAR04 form, a certified copy of an official academic record, a conduct certificate, and, in some situations, the syllabus, will we examine your request for exemption(s). SAQA evaluation and the syllabus are essential for foreign qualifications. During the application period, no academic record exemptions will be finalized.
You must meet the admission requirements for the qualification for which credits and/or exemptions are being sought. Credits and exemptions may account for up to 50% of the required credits. There will be no exceptions for UNISA’s signature modules. UNISA reserves the right to grant or deny exemption or credit transfer applications.

Unisa Application Requirments 2025-2026
The following documents are required to apply online at Unisa;
- A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- A copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
- A copy of your Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- A copy of your official tertiary academic records if applicable and necessary
- Copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree if applicable
NOTE:
Only upload the required documents as individual files and not a complete set of documents as one file.
- Files are not larger than 2MB (2048KB) each.
- Only black and white documents may be submitted.
- Only the following file types are allowed: PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format file), DOC (Word document file) or TIF (image file).

Follow the steps below to apply online for Unisa Accounting Sciences Courses;
- Log in to UNISA’s official website.
- Click “Apply for Admission” on the registration portal.
- Click the “Apply Now” button. Fill out the application form with the necessary information.
- Certified copies of supporting papers should be uploaded.
- Make an R140.00 non-refundable application fee payment.
- Cross-check your application to confirm that it is complete.
