Application for Admission to 2021-2022
The University of South Africa (Unisa) has an application cycle to be open and continuous. Unisa Application for admission dates to 2021-2022 Academic year is as follows:
- Unisa Application for Admission to Undergraduate qualifications, i.e (Higher certificates, Advanced certificates, Diplomas, Advanced diplomas & Degrees) is from 1 September to 30 November 2020
- Application for Admission to Honours degrees and Postgraduate diplomas is from 1 September to 15 December 2020.
- Masters and Doctoral qualifications is from 15 September to 6 November 2020
All those who want to start for a new qualification should apply for admission now! The Application comprises of all first-time Unisa Applicants, Unisa students who are changing to a new qualification and specialisation, all applicants who applied for admission ealier time and were not offered a space or who were offered a space all right and accepted the offer but did not register finally, students finishing a higher certificate or any of the programme and wants to continue with further Undergraduate studies.
Application process: How Does it Work?
- You can apply for a maximum of two (2) qualifications that is been ranked in order of preference (even though you may register only for one if both of your applications be successful).
- Unisa will notify you of the results of your application
- You have to accept or decline Unisa’s offer within the prescribed time given by Unisa.
- If you were able to accept Unisa Offer for the 2021-2022 Academic year, you can only register for the qualification or specialisation for which you received the offer. You can also equally register for 2021-2022 year. If you also decide not to register for the 2021 academic year for any reason, you will be require to re-apply for admission in 2021 for the 2022-2023 Academic year
Please, take note: The University of South Africa (UNISA) keep or reserves the right to evacuate any offer for admission to the 2021-2022 academic year if it is found that you do not qualify the statutory, college or minimum admission requirements for the qualification you have been admitted. In this case, the University will repay any registration fees which was paid towards the said qualification. Unisa Online Application 2022-2023
