How Do I Accept My Unisa 2023 Application Offer?
The 2023 online applications have just been opened to prospective applicants who are intending to enrol on Unisa to study a qualification that is linked to their career choice. From the 1st of September 2022, the Unisa application will be open and by the 14th of October 2022, the applications will be closing. Prospective students should bare it in mind that applications that will be submitted after the application deadline will be denied.
After you have applied and submitted your online application form for the 2023-2024 academic year, the University of South Africa (UNISA) will then access your application, which includes the admission points score system, you will then be informed of the outcome of your application. If your application was successful, Unisa will indicate for which qualification you are being offered a space.
Applicants must accept Unisa’s offer within the prescribed period of time. If you fail to do so, Unisa will withdraw the offer and give your space to another applicant.
Applicants may not automatically be accepted to study through UNISA in 2023 due to the application and selection processes. Spaces available for some qualifications are limited and offers will only be made when all the applications received have been processed.
All those who are applying to UNISA for the first time should complete the First-Year Experience MOOC (FYE massive open online course) before accepting UNISA’s offer for 2023.

All applicants should accept or decline Unisa’s offer for the 2023 academic year within the prescribed given time i.e, within 10 days, unless maybe indicated in the offer e-mail. To accept or reject Unisa’s offer, follow the steps below:
- Go to UNISA accept offer portal: www.unisa.ac.za/acceptoffer
- Then, you click on ‘Offer’
- Next, follow the instructions
- Complete your acceptance offer

All UNISA Registration for the 2023 academic year opens on 4 January 2023. Please, you have to register for the period for which you have been granted admission.
