The Online Application Dates At Unisa 2025

Below are the application dates for the various qualifications offered at Unisa;

  • Undergraduate Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
  • Applications for admission to honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
  • Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).
  • Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July 2024.

Unisa Late Application Requirements  2025

Applicants who are registering to Unisa for 2025 must make sure they meet the statutory registration of the qualification of which they have chosen and also meet the minimum academic points score (APS) for their qualification(s) of choice.  Applicants are to upload all the supporting documents along with the registration forms. Below are the supporting documents needed for Unisa registration:

  • Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
  • Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
  • Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
  • Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
  • Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

NOTE:

  • Only upload the required documents as individual files and not a complete set of documents as one file
  • Files may not be larger than 2MB (2048KB) each.
  • Only black and white documents may be submitted.
  • Only the following file types are allowed: PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format file), DOC (Word document file) or TIF (image file).

Unisa’s online application process is quick, simple and accurate. When applying online, you’ll be prompted when information is missing or incorrect, helping you to ensure that you include all the necessary information when submitting your registration form.   • Start your UNISA Application process for the 2025 academic year.

During the specified application period, all admissions for application must be submitted online. Please confirm whether you meet the statutory and college-specific entrance or admission requirements, as well as the required academic points score (APS) for your selected qualification, before applying (s).
