Apply for UNISA Student Number 2023: UNISA Online Application 2023
The University of South Africa (UNISA) Online Application for the 2023 academic year is open 11th August to 15th October 2023 for all Undergraduate qualifications.
Therefore, an applicant who does not have a UNISA student number and wants to study through UNISA must apply for a student number otherwise he/she will not be able to apply for Admission to the 2023-2024 academic year.
How to Apply and Register for UNISA Student Number: Who Needs to get a UNISA Student Number?
Application for UNISA Student Number is applicable to the following:
- If you have never studied for a formal qualification at UNISA before, you must apply for a UNISA student number. Student numbers provided by UNISA for short-term learning programs are not transferable to formal qualifications. Your previous UNISA student number will be the same as your permanent UNISA student number.
- Unless you have already studied at UNISA towards a formal qualification, please apply for a UNISA student number if you are applying for admission to a Graduate School of Business Leadership (GSBL) qualification.
- If you have never studied for a formal qualification at Unisa and want to apply for admission to a selection degree, you must first apply for a Unisa student number. You will not be allowed to register for the 2023 academic year if you do not have a proper Unisa student number and are accepted into one of the selection degrees.
- An application for a UNISA student number is not the same as an application for qualification entrance. You must finish the procedure by submitting an application for admission and attaching the required supporting documents.
