Unisa Application Re-opening Dates for 2025-2026
Belo are the important dates and deadlines for Unisa 2025 applications;
- Undergraduate Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
- Applications for admission to honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year will open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
- Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).

Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July 2024.

How to Apply at Unisa Online 2025-2026
Unisa Online Application for Admission to 2025-2026 academic. To Apply to Unisa online, follow the steps below
- Go to Unisa website: www.unisa.ac.za
- Click on the Apply for Admission tab at the top menu of the page
- Read the application information
- Click on your choice of qualification
- Read carefully and continue the application
- Fill out the online application form (UNISA Application Tool) with your details
- Complete and submit your application for review
Applicants who qualify for admission will only receive final feedback as to whether or not Unisa will offer them a space for the 2025 academic year once all applications received by the closing date have been processed.
Documents Required To Apply At Unisa 2025
The following documents are required to apply at Unisa in 2025;
- A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
- A copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
- A copy of your Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
- A copy of your official tertiary academic records if applicable and necessary
- Copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree if applicable
NOTE:
- Only upload the required documents as individual files and not a complete set of documents as one file.
- Files may not be larger than 2MB (2048KB) each.
- Only black and white documents may be submitted.
- Only the following file types are allowed: PDF (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format file), DOC (Word document file) or TIF (image file).
