Login to myUNISA Student Portal (myUnisa)

When you are able to log in to the Student Portal, you can be able to:

Manage your enrolment in the University
Access your Email (mylife Unisa email)
View your academic records
Change your personal information details
View student announcements

How to Login to UNISA Student Portal on myUnisa

If you would like to login to myUNISA Student Portal, follow the steps below:

Visit the homepage of myUNISA: https://my.unisa.ac.za/portal
Claim your UNISA Login by Clicking on the “Claim Unisa login” link
Fill in your Student Number in the space provided
Enter your personal information details (your ID number or your Passport number)
Read the guidelines message
Click on the Acknowledge to signify that you have read each of the statment
Choose a Password for your account. Your password for both myUnisa and your myLife e-mail account will appear on the screen

Access your myLife Email Account

To access your mylife email account, follow the procedure below:

Go to http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/mail
Login to myUNISA
Enter in your students number
Type in your password provided above
Then, click on Login

Once you have been able to claimed your Unisa login, it can take up to 24 hours for your myLife e-mail account to be created. Click on myLife e-mail and enter your password to access mylife email account after 24 hours.

Please, remember to sign out of BOTH accounts. Do not just close the windows otherwise, someone can have access to your vital information.
