UNISA Late Application 2025-2026: Unisa late application 2026

The University of South Africa (UNISA) Online Late Application for 2025 closing date has been published on www.unisa.ac.za online application portal. Unisa will not accept any late applications or documents submitted after the closing date for applications. Therefore if you are a prospective student who could not apply during the application period then you need to wait until the next application season to apply.

Therefore, the UNISA management board encourages all Postgraduate diplomas and Honours degrees, Master’s and Doctoral applicants to apply online for Admission before the Application deadline for 2025. Late Applications will not be considered.

UNISA 2025-2026 Application Date 2025-2026

If you are looking forward to applying online at Unisa for the 2025-2026 academic, then you must take note of the following application dates and deadlines;

Undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees): 21 August – 11 October 2024
Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: 21 August – 11 October 2024
Master’s & doctoral qualifications: 2 September – 22 November 2024
Applications and registrations for short learning programmes for the 2025 academic year will open from 14 May to 19 July 2024.

How to Apply for UNISA Late Application 2025-2026

University of South Africa (UNISA) Application for 2025. Follow the steps below to apply online for admission:

Go to UNISA Application website: www.unisa.ac.za online application portal
At the top menu of Unisa’s page, click on the Admission tab
Then, you click on Apply for Admission
Choose your preferred qualification (Undergraduate qualifications, Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas or Master’s & doctoral qualifications)
Start your UNISA Application process for the 2025 academic year.

During the specified application period, all admissions for application must be submitted online. Please confirm whether you meet the statutory and college-specific entrance or admission requirements, as well as the required academic points score (APS) for your selected qualification, before applying (s). A minimum APS of 15 is required for a higher certificate, an APS of 18 for a diploma, and a minimum APS of 21 for a bachelor’s degree (some exceptions apply).

A copy of your official tertiary academic records if applicable
A Copy of your school qualifications ( Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
A Sworn translation of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
Copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree if applicable
