SATAC Application Dates for 2022
It is very necessary to make sure you are aware of the following SATAC Application dates for 2022-2023 so that your application to start studying with SATAC will be processed before the relevant closing date.
You can apply for courses that start at different times of the year in your application. Your application remains valid for the whole admissions period.
Apply as soon as possible after applications open to ensure your application is assessed in time for the scheduled offer rounds. Applications close in November the following year.
Below are SATAC important application dates for 2022-2023:
Undergraduate Applications for courses starting in 2022 are open now
| April to June 2022 | Early offers for midyear and summer semester courses may be made to applicants not awaiting current year (2022) tertiary results. |
| 28 June 2022 | Offers are emailed each Thursday and Tuesday to 28 July. |
| August 2022 | Offers are emailed each Wednesday and Friday until 31 August. |
| 7 September 2022 | Offer round. Offers are emailed by 5.00 pm. |
| 14 September 2022 | Offer round. Offers are emailed by 5.00 pm. |
| 5 October 2022 | Offers will be made during October for courses starting in November 2022. |
| 4 November 2022 | Applications close for courses starting in 2022. |
| 9 November 2022 | Final offer round for courses starting in 2022. |
Postgraduate Applications for courses starting in 2022 are open now
Important dates for postgraduate admissions are course-specific. The course search is used to check individual course entries for information about important dates. Course entries will give you more details about the starting date options, relevant closing dates, and the timing of offers for the course.
| 5 January 2022 | Twice-weekly offer rounds continue every Wednesday and Friday until 29 July 2022. |
| 2 August 2022 | Twice weekly offer rounds continue every Tuesday and Friday until 14 October 2022. |
| 30 September 2022 | Applications close for courses starting in 2022. |

Additional SATAC Key Dates for 2022
- The normal closing date to apply for 2022 entry is 30 September 2022.
- The late closing date to apply for 2022 entry is 1 December 2022.
- *Equal consideration will be given to your application, however, a late fee will apply.
It is still possible to apply after December, but your application may not receive equal consideration. There are exceptions to this rule such as our Medicine, Dentistry, Oral Health, and Veterinary Bioscience programs.

SATAC Application Fees 2022-2023
SATAC processing fees will apply to your application*. Fees are subject to change depending on the type of courses you are applying for and the date you submit your application.
The tables below explain the different fees that apply at different times of the admission period.
Make sure you check the details of your application so you are aware of the fees and charges that apply. SATAC does not waive or refund fees.

Payment of SATAC fees does not guarantee that you will receive an offer to a course.

The fees payable for midyear and summer semesters apply when you include midyear or summer semester courses only in your preferences. If you add a semester 2 preference to your application any time after 30 September 2022 you will be charged a higher fee.
