UNISA Application 2024-2025
The University of South Africa, UNISA Online Application for the 2024-2025 Academic year opens on 1 September and closes on 13 October 2023 for undergraduate, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas. Therefore, it is an encouragement to all prospective applicants who wish to study at UNISA for the 2024-2025 academic year must submit an online application at www.unisa.ac.za before the closing date or deadline. UNISA will not accept Late Applications for 2024.
How to Apply at UNISA Online 2024-2025
The Online Application at the University of South Africa (UNISA) is very easy, quick and accurate. The reason is that, as you are filling out the application form for the 2024 academic session and you make a mistake or you enter the wrong information, you will be prompted to correct them immediately. To use UNISA online application portal, follow the steps below:
- Step 1. Go to UNISA website at www.unisa.ac.za
- Step 2. Click on the “Apply for Admission” tab
- Step 3. Choose the qualification in which you want to apply
- Step 4. Read the application details and proceed to the online application portal
- Step 5. Then, click on “Apply Online Here”. This opens the “UNISA Application Tool” window
- Step 6. Select the qualification level
- Step 7. Fill out the block with all the required details
- Step 8. Complete and submit your application for evaluation.
The University of South Africa, Unisa will assess your application, consisting of the admission points score system. You can be given a space for the 2024 academic year based on
- your meeting the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice,
- your minimum academic points score (APS)
- the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.
Those who do not meet the requirements for admission will be notified as soon as their applications are completed. You must accept or reject UNISA’s offer after you have received the final feedback from UNISA.

UNISA Application Fee 2024-2025
You must pay the University of South Africa (UNISA) online application fee of R135. Please, remember that this application fee is non-refundable if you decide not to study through UNISA or do not meet the admission requirements for the 2024-2025 academic year.

- Visit UNISA status portal at www.unisa.ac.za/studentstatus-check
- Enter your Student number and password
- Login to access the application status portal
