UNISA PGCE Online Application Dates 2025-2026

To apply for admission at Unisa, you must take note of the following important dates and deadlines;

• Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year will be open from August 21 to October 11, 2024.
• Applications for honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas will also be open from August 21 to October 11, 2024.
• Applications for master’s and doctoral degrees will be accepted from September 2 to November 22, 2024, with some exceptions.
• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July 2024.

Admission Requirements for UNISA PGCE Online Application 2025

To apply for PGCE courses at Unisa, you must meet the following admission requirements set by UNISA;

• An accredited Bachelor’s degree (360 or 480 credits) with English or Applied Language in English completed up to the third-year level, including at least English 1. Additionally, Linguistics, African Literature, an African language, or Afrikaans must be completed up to the second-year level.
• If you do not meet all of these requirements, it is recommended that you consider applying for a Bachelor of Education degree instead.
