If you do not have a student number, you need to first apply online for one during UNISA’s application period and pay the application fee of R140. You will receive confirmation via SMS and email once your application for a student number is successful.

After receiving your student number, you must apply online for admission to the 2025 academic year. Upload the required supporting documents, which will be indicated in red on the online application platform. Typically, these documents include a copy of your ID or passport, complete academic records (if not UNISA qualifications), the ledger, and SAQA certificate of evaluation (for foreign qualifications), as well as a research outline (except for MBA, MBL, coursework LLM, and coursework MCom in Industrial Psychology).

Ensure that all steps are completed for your admission application to be considered. Applications and documents submitted via email will not be accepted.
