UNISA Clinical Psychology Masters Application 2023-2024: Clinical Psychology Unisa Requirements 2023

Applications for the Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology Masters Programme open on the 1st of September 2022 and close promptly on the 14th of November 2022 for the 2023-2024 academic year. Following that, only those qualifications with spaces available will remain open until the end of January 2023.

The University of South Africa (UNISA) Master of Arts-MA in Clinical Psychology Degree is a professional degree that leads to registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist (under the auspices of the HPCSA).

UNISA Clinical Psychology Requirements 2023

Below are the minimum admission requirements for clinical psychology masters programme in UNISA. Admission to apply for the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology programme is open to:

  1. Candidates in possession of an Honours degree in Psychology or an accredited BPsych degree, with a minimum of 60% average.
  2. Students who also hold an appropriate postgraduate diploma or a 480-credit bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 96 credits at NQF level 8 in psychology with an average of 60%
  3. International students must meet the English language requirement.

Student fees and funding your studies in 2023

Application fee: Pay the online application fee of R120,00 once you have received your student number from UNISA. Please, be reminded that this application fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through UNISA or do not qualify for admission.

To apply for admission, an applicant must apply for a student number to be able to apply for admission at UNISA 2022. Visit www.unisa.ac.za and submit an online application.

During the application period, please make sure that you apply for a Unisa student number, apply for admission, and upload all supporting documents.
