The myUNISA is an online student portal of the University of South Africa for all the information and services needed to assist you in managing all your studies throughout the year. MyUnisa offers a range of services and resources, such as course materials, academic results, registration details, and communication with tutors and lecturers. It helps students manage their academic progress and keep informed about university-related activities.
Please, be reminded that a single sign-on to most areas of the student portal and other straightforward navigation is going to make your interaction with systems and records so simple. Students who are currently admitted by Unisa will have access to all myUNISA features, a web-based portal for study-related information and resources.
When you start each semester, Unisa will always send you your study materials packed for the semester. Therefore, you must provide your correct contact information details (physical and postal address, cellphone number). Unisa will also send you SMS from time – to time with important updates for your studies so all your contact information must be accurate.

How To Update Your Contact Information At Myunisa Account
You have to update all your contact information on myUnisa to make sure that your study material reaches or is available to you. Follow the steps below to make sure that all your contact information is accurate:
- Please, visit myUNISA
- And then, click on “myAdmin”, “Student Admin” and “Biographical Details”.
- Check the contact information details on the records.
- If you are therefore required to update an address, click on “Update address details”.
- In case you need to update your contact cellphone numbers, click on “Update contact details”.
The University of South Africa always provides all registered students with a free myLife e-mail account. Important information, notices and updates are been sent to this account, so you must activate your myLife e-mail account and access it often.
