UNISA Registration for 2025-2026: How To Register At Unisa 2025-2026

The University of South Africa (UNISA) Registration 2025 is ongoing. All Applicants who successfully applied for admission at UNISA for the 2025-2026 Academic year and re-registering students should register to study through UNISA in 2025.

All UNISA Registrations and additions, received by the prescribed closing date are going to be processed and finalized if only the initial minimum registration fee is also received by the University.

Candidates who accepted an offer for the 2025 academic year, and did not register for 2025 are required to re-apply for admission for the 2025 academic year.

2025-2026 UNISA Registration Dates

To register for the 2025-2026 academic year, take note of the following dates;

• The registration portal for Unisa’s first semester has closed for the academic year. However, the deadline for semester two registrations has been extended to July.
• Registration for master’s and doctoral programs for the 2025 academic year will be open from January to April, with some exceptions.
• Semester two registrations for MBA and MBL qualifications will be available from June to July.
• Additionally, applications and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes will be open from January to March.

Documents Required To Register at UNISA 2025

The following documents are required to register for chosen courses at UNISA;

• Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate)
• Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable) (internet copies will not be accepted)
• Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
• Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans

How to Register At UNISA Registration for 2025

• Visit UNISA Registration site: https://registration.unisa.ac.za
• Select the certification level in which you wish to register for.
• Then, click on “GO”
• Make sure you have your student number
• Enter your student number in the space
• Enter other useful information as needed
• Then, check all your details on the screen
• Make changes to any contact information that is not correct.
• From the drop-down list, click on the Modules in which you wish to register
• Make sure you qualify for your chosen modules
• You are not to choose more than the prescribed number of modules per semester or year
• If you exceed the prescribed number of modules, your registration process will be delayed
• After which, you need to calculate your registration and study fees.
• Then, you click on “Submit your Registration”.
