UNISA Application Dates 2024 – 2nd Semester

The University of South Africa, UNISA Second Semester Application Dates for 2024 – 2nd Semester has finally been announced. Students at UNISA have been waiting months for the application deadlines for the second semester to be announced.

Just recently, over 60% of candidates believed that the application dates for the 2nd second semester would not be released at all but here we are, the UNISA Application Dates – 2nd Semester has been released below;

Application Dates for the Second Semester 2024:

Offers for semester 2 will be made during June 2024. Offers made will be based on the following: whether you qualify for the academic admission requirements for your chosen programme, your minimum admission points score and the number of places that are available for the qualification for which you have applied.

Applications for admission to undergraduate limited qualifications (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas & degrees) for the 2024 academic year are open from 10 – 31 May 2024
Limited Honours degrees & Postgraduate diplomas: 10 – 31 May 2024
Master’s & doctoral degrees: 3 March – 30 April 2024 (some exceptions apply) closed.

The application period lasts for only ONE WEEK, so once you’ve successfully applied, you will be able to register at UNISA for the second semester. Below are the UNISA registration dates for the 2 second semester:

Undergraduate Registration: (higher certificates, advanced certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, PGCE, BTech & degrees, including the Postgraduate Certificate in Education [PGCE])

Semester 2 registration for new and returning students: 3 July – 28 July 2023
Semester 2 registration for students awaiting results: 3 July – 28 July 2023
Final date for initial minimum payment for finalization of registration: 28 July 2023

Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas: online only (excluding the Postgraduate Certificate in Education [PGCE])

Semester 2 registration for new and returning students (semester modules only): 3 July – 28 July 2023
Semester 2 registration for students awaiting results (semester modules only): 3 July – 28 July 2023
Final date for initial minimum payment for finalization of registration: 28 July 2023

Master’s & doctoral degrees: 3 July – 28 July 2023 (with some exceptions)
