The online Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas at Unisa for the 2025 academic year will open from 19 August to 11 October 2024. However, Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).

Required Documentation To Apply Online At UNISA 2025-2026

To apply to the University of South Africa (UNISA) online, you are required to provide the following supporting documents for your application process.

An ID document (RSA Applicants) or ID/Passport (International Applicants)
A copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree if applicable
A copy of your school certificate (Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate)
A copy of your Official Tertiary Academic Records
Lastly, a Sworn Translation of Documents if not in English or Afrikaans
