The Unisa online registration date for the 2025 academic year has been released for applicants who were successful in the application process.  Applicants (new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification) may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Below are the various registration dates at Unisa for the various qualifications;

• The registration portal for Undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas opens and ends in January 2025 1 semester. Unisa has extended the closing date for semester 2 registrations to July 2025.
• Registration for master’s and doctoral qualifications for the 2025 academic year is open from January to April 2025 (some exceptions apply). Semester 2 registrations for the MBA and MBL qualifications will open on  June and close on July 2025.
• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes will be open from  January to March 2025.

Online Registration Process For Unisa 2025-2026

Unisa’s online registration process is quick, simple and accurate. When registering online, you’ll be prompted when information is missing or incorrect, helping you to ensure that you include all the necessary information when submitting your registration form. Follow the steps below to register for Unisa:

• Visit the Unisa web registration page, and click here to open the page.
• Choose the qualification level and then click “Go”.
• Enter your student number in the block provided and the other details as required. (If you don’t have a student number you won’t be able to continue. You’ll need to apply online for admission.)
• Check your details on the screen. Change any contact details that are missing or incorrect. It is very important to provide your correct address and cellphone numbers. Incorrect information may delay the delivery of your study material and prevent you from receiving important information from the university.
