Yes. you ca n pay for registration as Successful applicants who have gained admission to Unisa for the 2025 study season are been informed that the registration process for the year will be done on the official website of the university. Students need to assess the full cost of their studies before confirming their modules for registration. What you can afford will affect the number of modules for which you can register.

Registration fees for Unisa differ depending on your qualification, the number of modules, and so on, but basically, they include prescribed student fees (including registration fees), miscellaneous fees and fees for additional study material.

A minimum fee amount is payable before the closing dates for registration for each module or paper for which you register. If this amount is not paid before the closing date for registration, the university will not be able to process your registration. After paying the minimum amount, the outstanding balance must be paid by the relevant dates.

When Should I Pay the Registration Fee at Unisa?

If you register online but do not pay your fees during the process, your registration will only be completed once the university receives your payment. Make sure UNISA gets your payment before the registration deadline.

If you are re-registering and applying for a bursary, ensure that your payment is received by the university before the registration deadline. If a company or sponsor is covering your fees, we recommend paying the fees yourself first and then claiming the amount back from them. This ensures that your fees are paid on time.
