Purpose: Supply chain management is a complex task that spans far beyond the scope of a single company. This subject will provide students with the skills (knowledge, understanding, skills, values, and attitudes) they will need to contribute to the management of a contemporary integrated supply chain. From a supply standpoint, the topic examines supply chain management. The essential principles of supply chain management are discussed, with an emphasis on customer and supplier relationship management, as well as sources of competitive advantage inside an organization’s supply chain. Furthermore, supply chain management is conceptualized from an African perspective through the use of African case studies. Students who complete the program will be able to contribute to the management of a contemporary integrated supply chain and will have cross-curricular skills such as the ability to perform self-evaluations and recognize the ethical implications of actions in supply chain management. |
