The online application portal for Unisa 2025-2026 opens on the following dates;

• Undergraduate Applications for admission to undergraduate qualifications for the 2025 academic year will be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
• Applications for admission to honours degrees and postgraduate diplomas for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 21 August to 11 October 2024.
• Applications for admission to master’s and doctoral degrees for the 2025 academic year are to be open from 2 September to 22 November 2024 (some exceptions apply).
• Application and registration for Unisa’s Short Learning Programmes are open from 14 May to 19 July 2024.

The University of South Africa (UNISA) Application Fee 2025-2026

All applicants must pay an online application fee of R140.00 as soon as they have received their student number from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Please, remember that this fee is non-refundable if you decide not to study with UNISA, do not meet the admission requirements or cannot be offered a space due to few spaces available.

• Provide a copy of your school qualifications like Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate
• Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable)
• A copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
• You must provide a Copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable) or divorce decree (if applicable)
• Your Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans.
