When Must Unisa Registration Fees Be Paid? Unisa Registration Fees

The Unisa registration date for 2025 will begin and may end in January 2025. Registration fees at Unisa vary depending on the qualification a student has chosen and the number of modules they are registering for, but basically, they include prescribed student fees (including registration fees), miscellaneous fees and fees for additional study material.

Once registrants have completed and submitted their registration form, they must pay the fees that are calculated. A minimum fee amount is payable before the closing dates for registration for each module or paper for which you register. If this amount is not paid before the closing date for registration, the university will not be able to process your registration. After paying the minimum amount, the outstanding balance must be paid by the relevant dates.

All fees must be paid into the Unisa official bank account with the correct reference number for the university to process your registration before the relevant closing date. For the convenience of registrants, Unisa provides a variety of different payment methods. In the case of electronic transfers, please ensure that the reference field is completed correctly. No cash or cheques will be accepted at any Unisa office. Cash can, however, be paid into the university’s bank account at any First National Bank branch.

When Must Unisa Registration Fees Be Paid in 2025?

If you register online but do not pay your fees during the process, your registration will only be completed once the university receives your payment. Make sure UNISA gets your payment before the registration deadline.

If you are re-registering and applying for a bursary, ensure that your payment is received by the university before the registration deadline. If a company or sponsor is covering your fees, we recommend paying the fees yourself first and then claiming the amount back from them. This ensures that your fees are paid on time.
