Unisa Registration Payment Dates 2024

The Unisa online application and registration for the 2024 academic year are currently open for prospective learners. Applicants should start the process by downloading the application and registration forms from the official website of Unisa and filling them out. Once you have completed and submitted your registration form, you must pay the fees that as calculated.

The due date for the application and registration fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment. All fees must be paid into the Unisa official bank account with the correct reference number in order for the university to process your registration before the relevant closing date.

A minimum fee amount is payable before the closing dates for registration for each module or paper for which you register. If this amount is not paid before the closing date for registration, the university will not be able to process your registration. After paying the minimum amount, the outstanding balance must be paid by the relevant dates.

Honours & postgraduate diploma semester modules: 16 February 2024
Honours & postgraduate diploma year modules: 22 March 2024
Honours & postgraduate diploma semester 2 modules registered in semester 2: 19 July 2024

Master’s & doctoral degrees Final date for initial minimum payment so that your registration can be finalised

Master’s and doctoral qualifications: 29 March 2024
Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Leadership (MBL) semester 1 modules: 16 February 2024
Master of Accounting Sciences (98656) – AUE, FAC, GOV, INT, MAC or TAX: 22 March 2024

Did you register for a full-year course or a semester course, the following are the amount needed to be paid for both full courses and semester courses with the dates they must be paid:

Note: Please note that the fees stipulated are provisional and subject to change pending Council approval. It would be prudent to plan for a 10% increase in fees for the next academic year.

The acceptance fee is payable on or before registration. Registration will only be processed if this registration fee is settled in full or a valid Purchase Order (PO) is provided. The bursar (sponsorship) letter is not sufficient for registration

When Should Unisa Students Pay Registration Fee 2024

Tuition fees need to be settled at the following intervals

50% of total tuition on registration.

Year modules

25% of the total tuition on the 15^th of May, and then the balance on the 15^th of August.

Semester modules

50% of total tuition on the 15^th of March (1st-semester modules) or the 15th of August (2nd-semester modules).
