Unisa Payment Dates for 2025 Registration: Unisa Registration Dates 2025

The Unisa online registration for the 2025 academic year is currently open for prospective learners. Applicants should start the process by downloading the registration forms from the official website of Unisa and filling them out. Once you have completed and submitted your registration form, you must pay the fees that as calculated.

The due date for the registration fee is the closing date for the registration period. Any registration submitted without a registration fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment. All fees must be paid into the Unisa official bank account with the correct reference number for the university to process your registration before the relevant closing date.

A minimum fee amount is payable before the closing dates for registration for each module or paper for which you register. If this amount is not paid before the closing date for registration, the university will not be able to process your registration. After paying the minimum amount, the outstanding balance must be paid by the relevant dates.

Unisa Undergraduate Studies Final date for initial minimum payment so that your registration can be finalized

1. Undergraduate semester 1 & 2 modules: 16 February 2025
2. Undergraduate year modules: 22 March 2025
3. Undergraduate semester 2 modules registered in semester 2: 19 July 2025

Honours degrees & postgraduate diplomas Final date for initial minimum payment so that your registration can be finalized

1. Honours & postgraduate diploma semester modules: 16 February 2025
2. Honours & postgraduate diploma year modules: 22 March 2025
3. Honours & postgraduate diploma semester 2 modules registered in semester 2: 19 July 2025

Master’s & doctoral degrees Final date for initial minimum payment so that your registration can be finalized

1. Master’s and doctoral qualifications: 29 March 2025
2. Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Leadership (MBL) semester 1 modules: 16 February 2025
3. Master of Accounting Sciences (98656) – AUE, FAC, GOV, INT, MAC or TAX: 22 March 2025

Did you register for a full-year course or a semester course, the following are the amounts needed to be paid for both full courses and semester courses with the dates they must be paid:

Full-year registrations

• Total fees (registration for all 9 modules)       R55 053.00
• Registration fee (50%)                                    R27 527.00
• 1st instalment (15 March 2024)                     R13 763.00
• 2nd instalment (15 August 2024)                   R13 763.00

2nd-semester intake

• Total fee (register for 4 modules)                   R24 468.00
• Registration fee (50%)                                   R12 234.00
• Balance payment before 15 August 2025      R12 234.00

Note: Please note that the fees stipulated are provisional and subject to change pending Council approval.  It would be prudent to plan for a 10% increase in fees for the next academic year.

The acceptance fee is payable on or before registration.  Registration will only be processed if this registration fee is settled in full or a valid Purchase Order (PO) is provided.  The bursar (sponsorship) letter is not sufficient for registration
