UNISA Honours Application 2025-2026: Unisa Honours Online Application 2025

The University of South Africa (UNISA) Online Application for 2025 Honours degrees and Postgraduate diplomas is currently open, Therefore, prospective applicants willing to study at UNISA for the 2025 Honours degree programmes must apply for admission before the application closing date or deadline.

All applications for admission must be submitted online, as there will be no self-help stations available at regional offices; admission is not automatic and depends on meeting the requirements and availability of space, with only complete applications—where the application fee is paid (if applicable) and all supporting documents are successfully uploaded—being processed.

Application Dates For Honours Degree At Unisa 2025-2026

The online application portal of the University of South Africa open from 21 August – 11 October 2024 for applications for Honours degree programs at Unisa. Applicant are urged to submit their applications before the closing dates as late application may not be considered for the 2025 academic year at Unisa.

UNISA APPLICATION FEES FOR 2025 HONOURS DEGREE & POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS

All applicants must pay an online application fee of R140,00 once they have received a student number from UNISA. The application fee is only applicable to students who do NOT have a formal UNISA student number.

Please note that this fee is non-refundable if you decide not to study through UNISA or do not qualify for UNISA admission for the 2025 academic year.

The application fee must be paid by the closing date of the application period. Any application that is not accompanied by a fee will be denied. Please keep a copy of your receipt as proof of payment.

How To Apply Online At Unisa For Honours Degree 2025

Follow the steps below to apply online at Unisa 2025;

Visit www.unisa.ac.za and apply online for 2025
At the top menu of the Unisa homepage, click “Apply for Admission”
Select your level of qualification (undergraduate/postgraduate, etc)
Read carefully the online application information
Click on the “Apply Online” link to begin the application process
At the homepage of the Unisa application tool, fill out the form with your details
Complete the online application form and click on “Submit” to send your application

Documents Needed for UNISA Honours Online Application 2025

The applicants who are beginning a new qualification must upload all relevant documents, which often include the following:

Copy of your ID document (RSA students) or ID/passport (international students)
Copy of your school qualifications: Senior Certificate, National Senior Certificate
Sworn translations of documents if they are not in English or Afrikaans
Copy of your marriage certificate or divorce decree if applicable
Copy of your official tertiary academic records if applicable
