The UNISA (University of South Africa) Student Portal is an online platform created for UNISA students. It offers access to a broad range of academic and administrative services provided by the institution. Through the portal, students can manage and access information related to course registration, academic records, study materials, library services, financial information, examination details, support services, and personal information management. The UNISA Student Portal assists students in their online application and registration processes. It can also be used to check UNISA Application and Registration Status for 2025.

You can access the Unisa student portal on the official website of the university at www.unisa.ac.za, then select My Unisa, You will be directed to the login page where you can enter your student credentials to access the portal.

How to Login to UNISA Student Portal on myUnisa

If you would like to login to myUNISA Student Portal, follow the steps below:

• Visit the homepage of myUNISA: https://my.unisa.ac.za/portal
• Claim your UNISA Login by Clicking on the “Claim Unisa login” link
• Fill in your Student Number in the space provided
• Enter your information details (your ID number or your Passport number)
• Read the guidelines message
• Click on the Acknowledge to signify that you have read each of the statement
• Choose a Password for your account. Your password for both myUnisa and your myLife e-mail account will appear on the screen

How To Access Your myLife Email Account

To access your mylife email account, follow the procedure below:

• Go to http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/mail
• Login to myUNISA
• Enter your student number
• Type in your password provided above
• Then, click on Login

Once you have been able to claim your Unisa login, it can take up to 24 hours for your myLife e-mail account to be created. Click on myLife e-mail and enter your password to access mylife email account after 24 hours.

Please, remember to sign out of BOTH accounts. Do not just close the windows otherwise, someone can have access to your vital information.
